Filament Box

According to the machine typ filaments up to 520 mm in length can be inserted in the adjustable filament box. Materials of all kinds - such as synthetic filaments, horsehair, tampico but also wire or abrasive materials - are possible here.

Bundle Departing System

The universal brush filling machine is equipped with the needle compartment system as standard. Exactly the required amount of fill material is removed from the filament box via a slide and fed into the filling tool. For special applications, bundle departing by an adjustable halfmoon picker is possible on request.

Filling Tool

The heart of the brush filling machine has been further developed based on proven technology so that the simple basic structure means that acquisition and repair costs are as low as possible. Wear parts can be exchanged quickly and easily. Due to the high material and manufacturing quality, the bundles are brought into the brush precisely whether they are particularly fine or heavy and anchored by the staple.

Drive & Controls

A powerful gear motor made by SEW realizes the stroke of the filling tool. The foot switch can be used in jog and continuous operation. The emergency stop button is within the direct reach of the operator sitting in front of the machine.

For some applications, the use of a simple 2-axis CNC control is recommended. With the high-quality WOMAtec CNC table and the associated brush control, this brush filling machine receives a valuable upgrade.

Wire Feeding

The ring with the punching wire lies on the wire reel. The required length is reliably fed into the filling tool via a mechanical system and cut off here. This is round wire, which is formed into a staple in the tool.

Brush Table

The operator sits in a comfortable position in front of the table. This table is mechanically adjustable to compensate for different brush heights. In order to produce brushes with angle, the table can be made adjustable not only in height but also in angle. A system for tufting cylinder brushes is optionally available (in the picture for up to 2 meter brush length) as well as a 2-axis CNC table.

Machine Frame

Everything on board - the solid welded steel frame hides drive and control cabinet. Powder-coated cover panels protect the interior from dirt and ensure a clean look. Enclosures at safety-relevant points are secured with limit switches.
